WORLD HEALTH ORGANIZATION

AGENDA: CLOSING HEALTHCARE GAPS IN FRAGILE REGIONS

The World Health Organisation (WHO) is a specialised agency of the United Nations committed to ensuring that everyone has access to medical care, preventing diseases, and promoting global health. It was founded in 1948. The World Health Organisation (WHO) is essential for organising global health responses, establishing health standards, and giving nations technical assistance to enhance their public health systems.

Closing healthcare gaps in fragile regions is the WHO committee's agenda item for the upcoming conference. This agenda tackles the pressing need to raise the standard and accessibility of healthcare in places impacted by instability, poverty, and conflict. Important components include developing international collaborations to deliver humanitarian aid, ensuring the supply of necessary medications and medical supplies, training healthcare professionals, and bolstering the infrastructure of the healthcare industry.

By addressing these issues, member states hope to improve health outcomes, lessen inequalities, and strengthen healthcare systems in vulnerable areas, all of which will contribute to the security and equity of global health.
